RCPD and Eskaton are proud to announce a new program, Rancho Cordova CARES, that provides daily phone calls to adults over the age of 65 by RCPD volunteers in the City of Rancho Cordova.
Rancho Cordova CARES, which stands for Connect And Ring Every Senior, was created and modeled through Eskaton’s Telephone Reassurance Program. The program is designed to form connections between residents and RCPD volunteers through daily cost-free calls to share life experiences, memories and laughter. Volunteers will also be able to refer residents to Eskaton’s Resource Navigator who can assist them with accessing resources, education and support groups. Read more about the program here.
