The goal of the program is to bring neighboring businesses together in partnership with RCPD to continue preventing and reducing crime. Start a Business Watch Group

• Invite your neighboring businesses to a meeting on Business Watch and crime prevention techniques. Towards the end of the meeting, decide on the next meeting and make it ongoing.
• Let RCPD know you are starting a Business Watch Program by filling out this form.
• Invite speakers to Business Watch meetings for crime prevention tips and planning group strategies.
• Develop a telephone tree, email distribution list, or other method for quick dissemination of information among your Business Watch group regarding criminal activity in the area, meetings and more.
• Set clear, achievable goals for what your Business Watch group wants to accomplish in your area.
• Educate you and your employees on crime prevention and provide educational materials on various topics.
