On April 15, 2018, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department Communication Center received a call for service in regards to an unresponsive male in the 800 block of Elkhorn Boulevard within north Sacramento County.
Sheriff’s Deputies along with Sacramento County Park Rangers responded to the location. Upon arrival, responding law enforcement officers contacted personnel from the Sacramento Metro Fire Department who indicated the male had been pronounced dead at the scene. During the initial stages of this investigation, deputies determined the victim had sustained trauma to his body. Sheriff’s Department Homicide investigators and Crime Scene Investigators have responded to the scene and are investigating this incident as a suspicious death.
The identity of the victim, in this case, will be made available by the Sacramento County Coroner’s office after notification has been made to his next of kin.
