Detectives assigned to the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) were investigating a case regarding 26-year-old Javontae Rucker, of Sacramento. Detectives received a tip in regards to Rucker being in possession of digital files containing child pornography.
During the investigation, detectives discovered accounts associated with Rucker contained over 1000 files of child pornography.
On March 3, 2018, Sheriff’s Department Detectives arrested Rucker for charges pertaining to possession of obscene images of a minor. Rucker is currently being held in the Sacramento County Main Jail in lieu of 50,000.00 bail and is scheduled for arraignment on March 6, 2018.
This investigation is ongoing, and detectives are still trying to identify victims and locations where incidents may have occurred.
