This is an update to the press release published on October 30, 2017. On November 6, 2017, at 12:35 p.m. the same suspect in two robberies (below) entered the Wells Fargo Bank in the 3500 block of Marconi Avenue. The suspect presented a threatening note demanding money. Additional suspect photographs obtained from the most recent robbery are attached.
Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department Robbery Detectives are seeking assistance from the public in the identification of a robbery suspect (See attached photographs).
Just before 11:30 a.m. on October 13, 2017, a male suspect entered the US Bank located in the 3300 block of Arden Way in the north Sacramento area. Once inside, the suspect provided a bank employee with a threatening note demanding money.
At approximately 12:00 p.m. on October 16, 2017, a male suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank located in the 8300 block of Elk Grove Florin Road in south Sacramento. The suspect approached a bank employee and produced a threatening note demanding money.
After both aforementioned incidents, the suspect was seen fleeing on foot. Robbery Detectives believe the same suspect is responsible for both robberies.
The suspect is described as a black male adult, approximately 25-30 years old. He is believed to be tall with a large build. During both crimes, he was wearing an orange construction type vest with a white t-shirt underneath. He was also wearing a green baseball type cap and dark jeans.
