Fire Disaster Donation Drive

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department Youth Services Unit has partnered with Walmart in an effort to gather toys for families impacted by the devastating fires across northern California.

We will be hosting a donation drive tomorrow, October 12, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Walmart (5821 Antelope Road).

The Youth Services Unit typically directs their focus on the youth in our communities and is seeking donations of new toys.  We also welcome the donations of essential items such as packaged underwear, feminine products, diapers and other related hygiene items.

We suggest those who wish to participate seek information from local news organizations for a current list of items needed.

Members of the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department will be personally delivering all donated items to designated sites on Friday, October 13, 2017.
