The 21-year-old male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the arm, and was considered to have a non-life threatening injury. The 22-year-old male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene. They received initial information that there were several fights in the street prior to the gunshots being heard. There is no suspect(s) description at this time.
The identity of the deceased victim in this case will be made available by the Sacramento County Coroner’s office, after notification has been made to his next of kin.
